Money before: clean air, clean water and pure food.

This is pretty much a dead issue, as in the environment is dead. We killed it.  Planet earth is very anxious for our impeding all-out nuclear war so it can get rid of this virus that calls itself “mankind”. The Earth will survive and move on but mankind will destroy itself through fear, ignorance, ego, religion and most of all the pursuit of a buck.  This section of the website will examine how big corporations have destroyed our environment leaving us the citizens with poisoned air, poisoned water and poisoned food (trans-fats), all in the pursuit of another buck.

Why is it acceptable to pollute our environment just to make a few rich people richer?

Stop and think about what you would do if you won the lottery and were suddenly financially independent. Would living your life under the thumb of corporate rule be your idea of the idyllic life? I doubt it. You probably prefer to live your life as you do while on vacation. You probably prefer to live in a less crowded, less polluted part of the world. My point is that life under corporate rule is not what dreams are made of. (more..)

The Christian Right’s stance on the environment

The Christian Right’s view of the environment can be summed up by a bumper sticker: “Just ignore the environment, it’ll go away.”  The Christian Right sees no use in trying to protect the environment mainly because liberals want to preserve it and anything a liberal is for, the Christian Right is automatically against. However, there is another reason: the Christian Right believes that we don’t need our environment because we are in the End Times.  What’s the point of preserving something if Christ is returning soon?  Well for one thing if the Christian Right is wrong about the End Times they are leaving a very unhealthy world to their grandchildren.
