Do not tolerate holy killing. |

Christian fundamentalists believe that if they do not kill Muslims, Muslims will take over the world and crush us all. Although the Koran is full of such teachings most Muslims are moderates. If Christian moderates and Muslim moderates do not calm down their respective fundamentalists we are all doomed, just as both fundamentalists groups would have it. Ending mankind may be the best thing to ever happen to planet earth, however, if we want to survive, fundamentalists must be stopped or else they will stop us all.
Fundamentalists view the world in black and white absolutes: bad things must be destroyed and good things, if they exist, must be allowed to flourish. If they run out of bad things to destroy they will simple re-define what is good and what is bad and start destroying bad things that were once upon a time “good”. Don’t believe it? Study the dark ages, especially the inquisitions. Muslim fundamentalists are our modern day inquisitors. They will decide what is good and what is bad and in one fell swoop act as judge, jury and executioner (see 9/11/06 as example). People who believe that it is their duty to kill other people simply because they do not believe in the same religion must be treated like Nazis. If their stubborn narrow minds cannot be made to see that violence is not a solution, they should be marginalized or cast out of society. A religion of hate is not a religion and should never be accepted as such.
“Religion”, what a bizarre concept to fight and kill and die for. “Religion” is a strong belief that “how” we worship God is far more important than the mere fact that we do worship God. This is where we as humans start splitting hairs and choosing up sides. Some people feel that although we do not worship God in exactly the same way, at least we all believe in God. Therefore, yes, we are separated by fundamental differences but these differences are not worth fighting over. Then there are other people who believe that the fundamental differences in how we worship God are not only critical but they are indeed worth fighting over. These “fundamentalists” believe that tolerance of another person’s view of how to worship God is unacceptable. These people reason that tolerance demonstrates a lack of true faith within the believer. Therefore, they must battle those who are in fundamental opposition to their view of how to worship God.
Viewing religion in this way makes religion seem idiotic. However, I don’t see many people on this planet viewing religion as “idiotic”. We all seem to understand the view points of the radical fundamentalist Muslims as well as the view of the radical fundamentalist Christians. We respect their views and hope that somehow they will all learn to play nice. However, like rival street city gangs, these two sides will never “play nice”.
The US entered into an agreement with Saudi Arabia in 1973 that to the minds of the fundamentalist Muslims was the final blow to their religion. The “infidel” Americans came into Saudi Arabia and westernized the country. The US made Saudi Arabia what she is today: a big modern country, but it came at a price. The price was the tolerance of western, “Christianized” ways. Moderate Muslims like moderate Christians know how to live peacefully with their neighbors and enemies. However, fundamentalists don’t care about peace; they demand action, reasoning that “actions speak louder than words”. The Muslim fundamentalists want action to show that they will not tolerate worshipping God in any other way except their one true correct way. Thus, we get Osama Bin Laden and his kind. And he attacks.
After Bin Laden attacked, the so-called Christians ignored Christ’s teachings to turn the other check and to love their enemies and they attacked the Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan. And the gang war was on! Although Christ made it clear that an eye-for-an-eye is a sin, the Christian fundamentalists are out for blood the same as Bin Laden. The Christian fundamentalists want action to show that they will not tolerate worshipping God in any other way except their one true correct way.
Even though Muslims and Christians and Jews for that matter all believe in the exact same God they are all out to kill each other to prove their devotion to their way of worshipping God. Faith without reason, faith without sense breeds fundamentalists that ignore God’s core teachings and instead they strive to kill to prove that they have faith. They never stop to realize that God can see their hearts. If they have faith He sees it, there is no reason to kill to prove that the faith is there. Killing, when God commands you not to, obviously means that you lack faith in the first place.
